claude ai for law firms

Claude, built into your firm's own software.

Not another chat window to copy and paste into. I build Anthropic's Claude directly into your case management system, connected to your matters, your documents and your checklists, so it does specific jobs inside the workflow your staff already use. A person approves every result.

running today

What Claude already does in the platform

These features are built and working in the Florida family law platform. Your firm's version can start from them.

read

Reads every uploaded document

For each bank statement, tax return, pay stub or retirement statement, Claude records what it is, the period it covers and the key figures with page numbers. It points out unusual items, such as large transfers or accounts that aren't on the client's financial statement, and missing pages or months.

match

Files documents in the right place

Clients rarely label uploads. Claude matches each file to the checklist item it belongs to, so the tracker updates without anyone sorting a pile of PDFs.

summarize

Summarizes a whole production

Item by item against the firm's checklist: what's complete, what's partial, what's missing and what's worth a closer look, plus a list of what to request next. A request can go straight onto the client's portal to-do list.

ask

Answers questions with sources

Staff ask plain-English questions about a matter's documents. Every answer cites the file, page and quoted text it came from, so it can be checked in seconds.

automate

Turns a sentence into an automation

"Two weeks before every hearing, e-mail the client a reminder." Claude asks a clarifying question if it needs to, then drafts the automation in the workflow builder for a person to check and save.

change

Takes change requests

The firm describes a change it wants in the software. Claude prepares it as a reviewable code change, and nothing goes live until it's been reviewed and approved.

in the product

Review that starts with a summary, not a stack of paper

The disclosure review screen shows Claude's summary of each side's production next to the firm's checklist. Staff see at a glance which items are complete, partial or missing, then dig into the documents that need attention.

for your firm

Other places Claude can earn its keep

Intake triage

Summarize a new inquiry, flag missing information and route it to the right person.

First drafts from your templates

Letters and routine correspondence drafted in your firm's voice from the matter's data, for a person to edit and send.

Data extraction

Pull names, dates, amounts and account numbers out of PDFs and scans into structured fields, including during a migration.

Matter summaries

A short status for a partner or a client update, built from tasks, notes and history.

Search across a file

Ask where something appears across hundreds of pages and get the page back, not a guess.

Internal knowledge

Answers about the firm's own procedures and checklists, drawn from documents you choose.

guardrails

Built so a person stays in charge

Nothing goes out unreviewed

Claude drafts, reads and summarizes. A person confirms every draft, summary, automation and change before it's used.

Answers you can check

Citations to the file, page and quoted text, plus a reminder to verify anything you rely on against the document itself.

Clear data handling

Documents are sent to Anthropic's API only for the features that need them, and only when the firm turns those features on. The firm controls the API key, and which model to use is a setting.
